Powder Blue Velvet Vintage Cantilever Dining Chairs c.1970s Set of 4
A striking set of four vintage cantilever dining chairs dating to the late 1970s.
Each chair features a sculptural flat-bar chrome frame, a gently curved floating seat and a softly button-tufted backrest.
Respect Your Elders reupholstered the set in an imported powder-blue velvet with a 50,000 Martindale rub count, selected for its exceptional durability and longevity. The colour was inspired by the soft, smoky blue tones popular in interiors during the late 1970s.
The reflective chrome and tactile velvet capture the glamorous, futuristic character of the period, while the clean cantilevered silhouette feels entirely contemporary.
