Purchase Rules
If you’re interested in purchasing an item you can buy it and pay for it on our website we have a card and EFT option. Should you require more info about a certain product you can just pop us a DM on our Instagram account. and we will gladly provide you with more information regarding the item your are interested in.
We are an online store which means we operate strictly online, our items get shipped from our storage unit in Johannesburg North. Please check our detailed descriptions before purchasing our items, kindly note that we are a vintage retailer our items will rarely be in brand new condition.
Delivery
Shipping is available the fee's for the different locations will be listed under each item on our website, Own collections at our at our Storage located in Johannesburg North near Kramerville are also more than welcome.
We outsource our Courier Company and thus this is not RESPECT YOUR ELDERS own private Courier company, we cannot take responsibility for any delayed deliveries or damages or losses that happens while a third-party courier or shipping company transports the products, even when the third-party courier has been facilitated by us, as we have absolute no control over this. We can also not take responsibility for any damages that occur when you use your own courier services with our wrapping services.
Own Courier
Please use your own Courier service should you not feel comfortable with using our preferred couriers. Please note that it is the client’s responsibility to arrange insurance for the shipment. Should you use your own courier we can wrap your item up to industry standards for you for an extra R150, we take absolutely no responsibility for damages incurred while using your own courier after we have wrapped your items - Please note we will not wrap your items for you if you do not pay the extra R150 fee.
Returns
We do not offer returns. Once you have received an item, it is yours, kindly make sure you view the product pictures and product video's before purchasing. Should there be a significant fault on your item that we did not list, we will accept a refund, if we have been notified within in 7 days of the client receiving their item, after 7 days no refund will be issued. If the item has been couriered to a different Province it will be at the buyers expense to courier the item back to us, once the item has been received back in our warehouse we will then give the client their refund within 10 days of receiving the item.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Kindly note that you are responsible for covering the shipping costs for returning your item, and these costs are non-refundable. Should you receive a refund, the incurred return shipping expenses will be deducted from your refund amount.
The duration for the exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on your location.
We recommend utilizing a track-able shipping service or obtaining shipping insurance. While we strive to receive all returned items, we cannot guarantee their arrival.
On Sale Items / Discounted Items
We strictly do not offer any returns at all on any Sale's items or on items that we have given a client on discount.
Non-Collection.
Should a client not collect an item bought within a 3 month time period, the item will then be resold without compensation to cover our storage costs. Please ensure that you collect your items before the three month mark.
Communication
We expect kind and professional communication from all of our clients. We do not tolerate any sort of Abusive, harmful or prejudiced language or demeaning "troll" comments on our posts. This will result in you being blocked from our page - Lets keep things kind the world is already in a state of chaos.
